The young talents of Bulgaria demonstrate fashion of the new generation of SFW 2016
“The purpose of the third night of Sofia Fashion Week 2016, announced as the evening of the fashion design students and young talents, is the general public to see the strong potential of the new generation of fashion designers”, with these words prof. Lyubomir Stoykov opened the third night of the week of fashion here.
Fashion shows of Sofia Fashion Week 2016 continue in full force, and yesterday’s third night was entirely devoted to the social mission of the event, in support of talented young designers, and the concept for the evening is by prof. Lyubomir Stoykov, chairman of the Academy of Fashion, who as well selected the students and fashion design.
Wonderful platform, from which the young artists can prove themselves and be noticed. We are firm in one – Bulgaria has ambitious and creative designers worldwide. Contemporary thinking, abstract vision and projection to create the modern and the avant-garde.
Students from several universities, in the country, gave serious request for a contemporary fashion look and aesthetics. Student representative collections of the National Academy of Arts, New Bulgarian University, Varna Free University and Southwestern University were marked by many innovations, freshness, courage, passion and provocation.
“Tonight, luxury and creativity give themselves a meeting – the idea of elegance and new thinking of the adolescent fashion designers. I appeal to all, especially to those managers, who want to invest in the fashion industry and fashion design – open wide your receptors to feel the new wave, the wave of difference, disobedience, conceptuality and chic in the student works! Bet on them, trust their talent and professionalism!” said prof. Stoykov.
The defiles were started by the conceptual designer, Mariela Gemisheva, with the label “Created by Mariela Gemisheva”. She showed deconstructive fashion collection Eleven 2016, 11 unique silhouettes, consecutive of the project “11 simultaneous individual dances.”
